In March of 2009 Tristar Investigation founder Bruce Robertson was interviewed on the Men’s Dugout Radio Show-Angel’s Radio 830 with host Tara Grace. Robertson covered a wide range of subjects in the free-wheeling interview, from cheating spouses to wiretapping. The show started with Robertson talking about identity theft and how he and another private investigator on a TV news segment uncovered volumes of personal information on Los Angeles radio personality Lisa Fox.

After discussing what it takes to become a licensed private investigator he discussed disgraced private detective Anthony Pellicano and wiretapping laws. Robertson described a case where Tristar legally put a hidden microphone on a father in a child custody case which caught the ex-wife verbally abusing him at the child visitation exchange and culminated in the ex-wife kneeing the father in the groin, all caught on camera by a Tristar surveillance agent positioned across the street.

Next came a discussion about cheating spouses and how often the Tristar sleuths are able to catch cheaters, the answer is about 90% of the time. The show was concluded with a description of a high profile teenage runaway case involving MySpace and internet sleuthing used to catch the companion of the runaway who had convinced the girl to run away and bragged online on MySpace they would never be found.
