The individual who fills this position will receive training from a veteran private investigator. The investigator will conduct research related to locating missing persons, conducting background investigations, assets investigations and other research. Once the data is analyzed and verified, they will create detailed, accurate and well written reports.

In addition the position will require field work, including last known addresses and contact with neighbors and other parties. It will also include taking statements and serving subpoenas. The individual who fills this position should be interested in working for a small firm in team atmosphere.

Candidates must have:

• Experience in an office environment
• Research experience preferred
• The ideal candidate will be very professional, articulate and sharp
• Ability to quickly learn proprietary database software
• You must be self disciplined and self-motivated
• Have the ability to think "outside the box"
• College degree preferred

Other Qualifications

• Able to do multi-tasking (This is a key element to this position).
• Strong computer skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Able to coax information from individuals over the phone
• Type 45 wpm
• Proof reading, grammar and writing skills must be top quality
• Must be inquisitive, bright, innovative, motivated and a self-starter

This is a salaried position paying $28,000 to $40,000 per year. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k) profit sharing, paid time off and business casual dress code.
